Be prepared , what bring ?

All visitor know this, you need to be prepared before going for a long tour in this region of Argentina. Be aware that Salta and Catamarca are situated at a high altitude which means protect your skin! I came up with a list of things you should have in your backpack.
Here are the must-haves:
- High protection sunscreen (50+)
- Lips protection sunscreen

- Sunglasses
- Windbreaker jacket or duvet jacket
- Your camera (for the amazing landscapes)
- personal belongings

Seasons

Are you planning to visit between January- and April? You can expect an average of 35°c during the day. As soon as the sun sets, the temperature drops to 15°c. From May to August the temperature is around 15° during the day. However, be prepared because as soon as the sun disappears temperatures will drop to around 5°c. So, remember to never underestimate the South American weather and bring appropriate garments!
